In 1991 I was the first musical act booked at Uncommon Ground in Chicago. I was asked by Michael and Helen Camaron to be part of the “Anniversary Month” showcase. Uncommon Ground is considered an iconic staple of great music and food in the Chicago’s art scene.

I can’t believe it’s been that long! I’ll be opening the first set at 7:00 playing solo familiar music and then in the second show at 8:00 with my all new Near City Trio featuring Brent Roman on percussion and the young lion Adam Blenderman on upright bass. We’ll be premiering a set of new original compositions for a new project.
